Library Information

Beaconhouse Sri Lethia Library is situated on the first floor of the school building. The main goal of the library is to provide continuous support for students and teachers in their learning and teaching activities. It currently houses over 11,000 copies of various materials such as fiction and non fiction books, atlases, encyclopedias, audio-visuals, and past year examination papers. During school days, the library opens from 7.40 AM to 4.30 PM (Monday - Friday) and 8.00 AM to 12.30 noon (Alternate Saturday).

Library Loan Rules

All students must provide their name and class at the Circulation Counter.
Students can borrow only one book in 7 days or 1 week.
Borrowers can renew the loan only once.
Borrowing and return time should be done during opening time / break time / lunch time / return time only
If the book fails to be returned, the librarian or library prefects will go to the borrower’s class to ask for the book back.
Pupils who lose or damage a book, are required to replace the book borrowed with the same book or a different title but of the same quality as the lost, torn or damaged book.
Borrowing and returning processes must be done at Circulation Counter (Applicable for all teachers, staffs and students).
All materials borrowed are the responsibility of the borrower. In the event of loss or damage the borrower must report it immediately.
The use of computers is for learning and teaching purposes only.
Users who do not comply with the rules will be blacklisted and are not allowed to use this facility.
